Golden Glen Catering commenced trading thirty years ago selling and distributing to the Fish Frying Trade in the greater Belfast area. Over the years they have expanded their product range to enable them to grow their business to what it is today: a customer base that now covers the whole of Ireland. However, as the volume increased, so did the paperwork, and they needed a solution to manage this.

Golden Glen implemented TraX in their accounts department for both incoming and outgoing documents. Each order now creates a picking document and delivery docket. Once these documents are signed they are scanned and automatically indexed into TraX, giving the accounts department instant access through their Intact accounts system, as TraX is fully integrated into Intact. Their purchase invoices are also scanned into TraX and are also available through Intact.

Golden Glen are now able to concentrate on processing orders and whenever documents are requested it’s now just a simple search on the PC and they can be emailed directly to the client.
