Philip White Tyres Ltd. is an independently owned family run company, established in 1982 by Managing Director, Philip White. Philip White Tyres have retail car and commercial depots located in both Northern and Southern Ireland and a wholesale division based at their Head Office in Armagh. They also have a Department of Environment VTN (Vehicle Testing Network) centre at Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, for HGV and LGV vehicles.
Distributing over 100,000 tyres a year involves a massive amount of paperwork and this was taking huge amount of time to process, so that’s where EIS came in.
Each transaction is recorded using a paper Proof of Delivery (PoD). Now all documents are scanned or imported from distribution partners directly into TraX and matched to the accounts system to ensure that all records are intact. Credit control queries regarding signed paper copies can now be instantly emailed to clients. No more filing and searching physical folders has really made a big difference to the day-to-day administration of the business.
