Carey Glass, founded in 1965, is currently the largest independent single glass processing facility in Europe. In 2006 Carey Glass Joinery began manufacturing timber doors, under the trade name of Samson Wood, to help glazing clients improve their competitiveness and product range. The markets in which the company is active in require both complex and challenging product solutions. The business has several distinct areas of focus. These include Carey Glass Residential and Architectural, Carey Glass Joinery and Carey Glass Solar.

With such a large facility, managing paper across the plant was very time consuming and far less efficient than a paperless system. With this in mind, Carey Glass selected TraX Work Flow from EIS to deliver a document management solution to manage and integrate scanned Goods Receipt Notes/Purchase Invoices and electronically captured POs. All documents are now stored in one central digitised database with direct links to the back office finance system for auto-approval. All documents/data are instantly accessible from multiple PCs across the network.
